The mission of the Authority is to enforce the provisions
of the Sugar Industry Control Act, so as to ensure the viability if the
industry. This it will do by taking a leadership role in the development of the
industry and by being a strong and efficient organization with highly motivated
and professional employees.
To develop through research the full potential of the
sugar cane plant; to deliver professional service to the industry through a
cadre of highly qualified and motivated staff; to spearhead developments which
also protect the environment and to promote the sugar cane industry as a
platform for a future industrial growth and development.
